This past week, I attended and documented the vigil held for Philando Castile & Alton Sterling hosted by Black Lives Matter Vancouver. The event was emotional and moving. I am honoured to have been able to contribute.
To see all of the photos, take a look at BLM Vancouver's Facebook album of the event.
I just spent 2 weeks in Ethiopia, touring food security projects with Canadian Lutheran World Relief, documenting some of the projects for the organization. The experience was incredible. The projects are inspiring and the people we met were all so welcoming. The food was delicious and the coffee was just as good as you'd expect!
I had the incredible privilege of attending the Bat Mitzvah of a young friend of mine in Chicago this past weekend. It was a delightful party and the photos are coming out nicely. Here are a few previews!
I spent June in Dallas, working on family things (I grew up there). It was hot and crazy and reminded me of all the reasons I live in Vancouver now! However, it was so nice to be about to reconnect with friends I grew up with and get face time with some the new little ones who have made an appearance since my last visit.
Here are a couple I shot with my friend Rachael who has been a close friend for 26 years!
